The Tomatoes are poking their heads over the plastic already.
The flowers have started to form.
We also planted a few of the larger growing tomatoes into the garden bed a few weeks before I started my experiment to see if they prove to be any better tomatoes.
My Golden Roma Tomatoes have just emerged no signs of the Black Prince yet. I will soak them overnight and try again.
My Experiment the one on the left with the white sign is growing uncovered.
I think they have grown quite a bit since, I can see them from my kitchen window which is nice in case any wind comes along and blows them over. I have only watered them a few times, once when I planted them and watered them in with the Seasol. A few weeks ago when we had a hot day, the rest has been taken care of with the rain and I watered them again this morning.
Only one lot of my seeds have emerged so far and with the night temperatures still under 10 degrees it is still to low yet for me to remove the plastic protecters from the pots.
I am running a another little experiment aslo with the two cherry orange tomatoes. I have left one orange cherry tomato uncovered and covered the other and so far there is little difference between the two apart from the colour of the leaves.
The flowers are already starting to form and I can't wait until I can remove the plastic protectors to look at them all better.
So far no pests which is great as they are eating the rest of my veggies at the moment.
